Afera European Tape Week 2026 takes place on 21–25 September 2026 at the Pestana Douro Riverside in Porto, Portugal. It is the European adhesive tape industry’s premier annual meeting place, bringing the European and international tape value chain together for a week of technical learning, business insight, high-value networking and strategic exchange.
 

One week, one industry meeting point

European Tape Week brings the industry together in one place and one week, so delegates can learn, share direction on the issues shaping the sector and build relationships across the supply chain. The format is designed to make it easy to attend the core events, take part in Afera’s Committee work and connect with sponsors and peers throughout the week.

European Tape Week is aimed at professionals across the adhesive tapes ecosystem, including tape manufacturers, converters, raw material suppliers, machinery and equipment providers, end-use partners, and prestigious institutions.

The Tape College is best suited to those who want a structured grounding in adhesive tape technology and markets, including newer entrants to the industry and colleagues moving into tape-related roles.
Afera’s Annual Conference is aimed primarily at senior leaders and decision-makers, with content focused on market, strategy, regulation, sustainability and business resilience.

Building on the first edition

The 1st European Tape Week was held in Thessaloniki in September 2025 and welcomed nearly 200 participants from 20 countries, with 100+ companies represented. It confirmed the value of bringing Afera’s key events into a single week, with strong attendance across sessions and high-quality networking throughout.
